Experienced, Practical, and Purposeful Therapy
Experience matters—especially when therapy needs to be both thoughtful and effective.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California and Utah with over 30 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, families, and mental health professionals. Across decades of practice, my work has consistently focused on helping people understand patterns, make informed choices, and move forward with greater clarity and steadiness.
This is a practice shaped by experience, discernment, and respect for the complexity of real lives.
A Practical, Solution-Focused Orientation
My clinical approach is solution-focused, relational, and grounded in experience. While insight and emotional understanding are important, therapy with me is not open-ended or purely exploratory.
The work emphasizes:
- Clarifying what matters most
- Identifying relational and behavioral patterns that sustain difficulty
- Strengthening existing capacities and resilience
- Translating insight into practical, usable change
I help clients make progress they can feel—often in a relatively short period of time.
Clinical Background
With more than three decades in the field, I have worked across a wide range of relational, emotional, and professional challenges. This breadth of experience allows me to remain calm, grounded, and focused—particularly when clients are navigating complexity or uncertainty.
I am also an Imago Certified Therapist, which informs my work with couples and families by emphasizing emotional safety, conscious communication, and understanding the deeper structure beneath recurring relational patterns.
